Bias/Discrimination/Harassment Reporting

If you have an emergency or you wish to report a crime in progress please call 911 or NSU Public Safety at 757-823-8102 or 8103.

Do you have questions relating to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion? If you personally have been subjected to harassment or discrimination on the basis of protected status by an NSU student or employee, you have multiple options including filing a formal complaint in order to initiate formal or informal procedures under NSU’s Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination Policy.

Reports or formal complaints alleging instances of sexual harassment, sexual assault, or other forms of sexual misconduct should be filed directly with the Title IX Office.

Reports of alleged discrimination or harassment based on protected status can also be made directly to the Office of Equity and Inclusion by:

Individuals who may not be able, for any reason including the need for reasonable accommodations, to file a report in the formats recommended here should contact TOIE for assistance and reasonable accommodation.
