International Programs

NSU's International Programs is at your service.
As an academic division of the Office of the Provost,
International Programs is the University entity responsible for supporting,
overseeing, and coordinating Norfolk State's international
initiatives. International Programs works with all interested programs and
services at Norfolk State to assist in international outreach, partnerships,
exchanges, research, travel, and funding pursuits. It also provides
administrative and behavioral guidelines and regulations, screens national and
international venues, and develops NSU-administered sites and curricula for
student study abroad.
IP's goals are to:

design, coordinate,
and support international learning opportunities for students, faculty, and
staff through study aboard and exchange programs;

connect and
facilitate the operations of ongoing campus international initiatives;
-
identify and promote
resources available for language study, international travel, academic
offerings, and international distance learning;
-
establish
international partnerships with colleges, sister city projects, foreign
governments, and professional organizations;
-
encourage
international interest and activity on campus;
-
provide hospitality
and support to NSU's international community; and
-
welcome and host
international visitors.
