Reclamation Project - the Completion of Your Degree

The Reclamation project is designed to facilitate the continuing education and subsequent graduation of Norfolk State University students who have left the institution prior to earning their degree. The project was designed to take full advantage of technology while maintaining academic integrity and the intellectual rigor of Norfolk State University.

Eligibility


What are the eligibility requirements for the program?

  1. Former Norfolk State University student
  2. Twenty-four (24) years of age or older
  3. No enrollment in NSU classes for the previous five (5) years

Admittance

What is the difference in being readmitted as a Reclamation Project student as opposed to regular readmission?

Students seeking readmission, through the Reclamation Project, whose GPA is 1.9 or lower, may apply for grade forgiveness. If granted, all failing grades will be deleted from the calculation of the GPS (not removed from the transcript) raising the GPA to 2.0, thus allowing the student to be readmitted to the University.

You may pursue any undergraduate degree program available at the university.
