SGA Executive Cabinet

Astra Armstrong is a student from Washington, DC. She has a huge passion for the arts and helping her community. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. She is a Business Management major with the hopes of opening her own theatre for children who are at risk of being incarcerated. Her favorite thing about NSU is Soul Food Thursday and The Spartan Spirit hours.

Zipporah Gatling. I am Senior majoring in Business Management here at NSU. I hail from Harlem Village/New York, NY. My absolute favorite thing about NSU is the connection that the students and faculty/staff have with each other. Zipporah feels that NSU is truly like a family and that it's unique to HBCU's. It's one of the things that distinguishes us from non HBCU universities, and because of it she wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Executive Administrator

Daylan is a Junior majoring in accountancy with a 3.5 GPA. Daylan is from Lawrenceville, Virginia. He currently serves as our SGA business manager. He also serves as a presidential intern in the office of University Advancement here on campus. This summer, Daylan had the opportunity to intern with Dominion Energy and has been invited back next summer. Daylan's favorite thing about NSU is the presidential internship program. One of his favorite experience through this program was flying out to Atlanta with President Stith and the Office of University Advancement to speak at an alumni reception.

Keith Dixon is a Transfer Junior majoring in Political Science with a 3.3 GPA. Keith is from New Brunswick, New Jersey. He currently serves as this year’s Student Government Association Parliamentarian. He was recently accepted into two great programs, one being the Thurgood Marshall Leadership institute, and the other being the Presidential Internship here at Norfolk State University. This will not only give him great experience, but also help him pursuit his goal of becoming a lawyer. One fun thing Keith participated in this summer was the NASAP Conference in Savannah Georgia. Norfolk State has been very uplifting in his life, there are many opportunities here and a great family orientated feeling that is unmatched. BEHOLD The GREEN and GOLD!

I am Jymia Hartridge, a senior, business entrepreneurship major and I am from Suitland, Maryland. My favorite thing about Norfolk State University is the family environment, we all look out for each other and welcome each other.
