What Is Open House?

Open House will be a day for you to learn more about NSU’s outstanding academic programs as well as get a sense of student life on campus. Experience what makes NSU a special place!

When is Open House?

Campus Tours

Take a tour of the Norfolk State University Campus areas to include Nursing and General Education Building, Lyman Beecher Brooks Library, Student Services, Student Center feat. NSU Bookstore, Chic Fil A, Tropical Smoothie, G.W.C. Brown Memorial Hall and Residence halls.

The Spartan Hub 

Have the opportunity to go thru the admissions process, applying for financial aid, submit additional documents and payments.

Spartan to Spartan

Attend the Spartan to Spartan Student Panel Discussion and interact with current NSU students that share the experiences that lead them to the path of earning their Spartan Shield.

Academic Marketplace

Meet with faculty and students in your academic areas of interest from various offices on campus that provide services and resources to students, including:

Accomondation

  • Overnight accommodations
    Overnight accommodations on campus are not available. However, there are several hotels within close proximity to campus for our NSU visitors.
  • Special accommodations
    If special accommodations are needed due to a disability, contact O.A.S.I.S at (757) 823-8325 at least two weeks before the Open House.

Cannot attend?

If you are not able to attend Open House, we encourage you to attend a Campus Tour or Transfer Thursday information session.  Please visit our Campus Visit website for times and locations.
