Governor Reappoints Henry, Fulton to NSU Board of Visitors

Virginia Governor Ralph Northam reappointed BK Fulton and Devon M. Henry to the Norfolk State University Board of Visitors. Henry and Fulton were first appointed by former Governor Terry McAuliffe in 2016 to four-year terms ending June 30, 2020.  The new terms began July 1 and will run through June 30, 2024.

B. Keith FultonFulton is a seasoned corporate executive and founder of Soulidifly Productions, a Richmond-based film and production company. He is the former regional vice president of Verizon Communications Inc. where he led over 44,000 employees in Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C. and Delaware. The media entrepreneur and intellectual property lawyer started his film company in 2017, shortly after retiring from Verizon.

Henry DevonHenry is CEO and President of Team Henry Enterprises LLC, an award-winning multidisciplinary contracting firm that specializes in construction management, environmental, marine and emergency response services. The company is headquartered in Newport News, Virginia, with satellite offices in Raleigh, NC, Richmond, Virginia, and Miami, Florida. Henry, a 2000 graduate of Norfolk State University, was named one of the university’s Distinguished Alumni in 2013.

The NSU Board of Visitors consists of 13 members appointed by the Governor to terms of four years subject to confirmation by the Virginia General Assembly. Of the persons appointed, four must be alumni of the University--three of whom may be nonresidents of the Commonwealth. Board members are eligible for reappointment for an additional term.
