  • Coursera Guided Projects

    Coursera Guided Projects are interactive, instructor-led online learning experiences that help students learn and practice new skills using industry tools and technologies. Guided Projects can help students learn how to use tools like Power BI, Docker, and Jira, and how to solve real-world problems using techniques and best practices. They can also help students develop data and analytics skills.
    Guided Projects are designed to be completed in under two hours and include features like: 

    • Task-based learning

    • Step-by-step guidance

    • Pre-configured environments

    • Real-time instructions

    • Virtual cloud workspace

    • Side-by-side interface

  • Students can interact with real software, watch visual instructions, and complete hands-on challenges to demonstrate their mastery of the material. Coursera offers a variety of Guided Projects, including some that are free. After completing a project, students can earn a downloadable PDF certificate that they can share with potential employers.

    Google Professional Certificates on Coursera 

    Flexible online training programs designed to help people learn job-ready skills in the following high-growth career fields: Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing & E-commerce, IT Support, Project Management and UX Design, available on Coursera.org. You will need to upload a copy of a valid Government issued ID. The uploaded file will then be reviewed and verified by Coursera and once it’s been approved, you’ll be able to [once you have finished all the courses within your chosen certificate programs download your digital certificate.

    LinkedIn Learning, formerly known as Lynda.com, is an online learning platform with on-demand, video-based content. The platform offers more than 16,000 courses divided into three categories: business, technology and creative.

  • Business: digital transformation, leadership & management, soft skills, project management training, HR training, customer service training, performance management training, online marketing training, professional development, career development, training & education, business software and tools, finance and accounting, sales, small business and entrepreneurship.

    Netflix Design Boot Camp UX/UI

    The boot camp has two sections: user experience (UX) and user interface (UI). During the first eight weeks, you'll explore the design thinking process known as the double diamond and the learning foundations of UX design. You'll then transition into UI design. In this section, you'll learn the building blocks of visual design and interaction design. Each section will end with a two-week group project, where you'll apply your new skills to create a case study.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)

  • NASA internships and fellowships leverage NASA’s unique missions and programs to enhance and increase the capability, diversity and size of the nation’s future science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) workforce. Internships are available from high school to graduate level. Internships provide students with the opportunity to participate in either research or other experiential learning, under the guidance of a mentor at NASA.


Micro-Internshipsfacilitated via Parker Dewey platform

  • Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, professional assignments that are similar to those given to new hires or interns. These projects enable Career Launchers to demonstrate skills, explore career paths, and build their networks as they seek the right full-time role.
