“Today, you represent everything that is good and honorable for your family, your community and this great institution,” Moore said to students.

During his toast to the graduating class, the president called for them to remember their families and the people who helped them reach this point and to the good they will do for others. Moore also wished them success and prosperity and to remember the history they will make as prominent graduates of NSU.

The spring commencement ceremony will be held May 10 at the Norfolk Scope Arena beginning at 9:30 a.m.
