 Advisory Group Member Named

Dr. Camellia Moses Okpodu, director of the Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence, has been asked to serve as an advisor on the National Institute of General Medical Sciences/Howard Hughes Medical Institute Working Group on underrepresented minorities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Persistence.

Dr. Ashley Neal Haines, assistant professor of biology, had her paper, “First Report of Streptococcus Parauberis in Wild Finfish from North America,” accepted for publication in Veterinary Microbiology.

The NSU Association of Educational Office Professionals named Terricita E. Sass, assistant vice president for enrollment management, its 2013 Administrator of the Year and Betty A. Billups, executive secretary in the School ofEducation, as the 2013 Office Professional of the Year at a program to celebrate campus office professionals.
