Student Wins Spot in Juried Show

Daniel Goodwin, a visual studies student in the Department of Fine Arts, received acceptance of his sculpture to the “New Waves” juried show at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), which runs through April 28. MOCA presents its annual juried exhibition, New Waves 2013, for the 18th year. Over 180 artists from across Virginia submitted work to this exhibition of diverse materials and approaches that are used in contemporary art today.
