Prestigious Industry Certification Earned

NSU’s associate director of Auxiliary Services has earned the Certified Auxiliary Service Professional (CASP) designation. Patricia Terrell is among 28 professionals who received the certification awarded by the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS), the largest auxiliary services support organization serving higher education.

The CASP designation is a four-year certification for aspiring Auxiliary Services professionals. It is the only certification that demonstrates recipients have met a high standard of excellence, as defined by experts in the industry, and that they have the skills necessary to be a director of Auxiliary Services. “I want to commend you for this achievement,” Ron Campbell, CEO of NACAS, said in a congratulatory letter to Terrell. “You are now a certified expert who has set the industry standard.” He added, “You have separated yourself from the crowd and have received a designation that tells the industry, ‘I think differently.’ It’s certified confidence.”
