Wellness Defined

Wellness is often defined as the absence of disease. It should be viewed as a higher level of well-being. There are 7 dimensions of wellness: Spiritual, Occupational, Intellectual, Environmental, Emotional, Social and Physical. Working towards developing each of these areas will help you establish a more balanced life. We offer custom workout programs, personal wellness advisement, nutrition and lifestyle consultations for all NSU students, faculty and staff.

Body Composition Measurement

Uses skin fold calipers or Body Fat Analyzer to measure the thickness of skin and subcutaneous fat at various sites on the body. The measurements are used to estimate the percentage of body fat versus lean body weight.

Equipment orientations are available at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Unfortunately, we do not offer personal training.
