(Choosing Healthy Options in Challenging Environments)

We all make choices in life. Do you know how marijuana affects your decisions? Do you know your HIV status? Do you know your sexual partner's status? Do you know your limit for alcohol? Choose wisely how you live your life in college and in your community. Think and be smart! You only live once, so make good CHOICES: “Be safe, Be selective, Be strong!”

Did You Know?

- African Americans are 8 times more likely to be diagnosed with HIV.

- According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, African
Americans make up 12% of the U.S. population, and of that, 12%
of African Americans hold 45% of AIDS cases within the U.S.

- African Americans are the racial/ethnic group most affected by HIV
  in the United States.
