Peer Tutoring

The Dr. Patricia Lynch Stith Student Success Center (PLSSSC) Peer Tutoring Program - aims to assist NSU students with becoming independent learners by sharing strategies that positively impact their academic achievement and facilitating sessions that assist students with developing and strengthening course skills. The tutoring program offers free one-on-one tutoring to assist students with individual academic needs as well as small group tutoring sessions where students can share thoughts and course information. The PLSSSC tutoring program is certified by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) at the Level II stage to provide creditability and set standards for the program.
