R.E.A.S.O.N! Journal

Welcome to the R.E.A.S.O.N! Journal website. One of the main purposes of the R.E.A.S.O.N! publication, established in 2009, is to provide updates to the campus community regarding implementation of the NSU Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), “R.E.A.S.O.N.: Creating Coherent Pathways to Develop Critical Thinking Skills in Students.” The journal will highlight innovative practices in curriculum design, active learning pedagogies, co-curricular learning, assessment strategies, advising/mentoring techniques, interdepartmental collaborations, student achievements related to critical thinking, and faculty engagement in the scholarship of teaching, learning, and advising related to developing critical thinking in students.

Your input to the R.E.A.S.O.N! Journal is strongly encouraged. Please send research articles and scholarly essays describing effective classroom practices to facilitate development of R.E.A.S.O.N. outcomes as well as accounts of your research projects focusing on active and collaborative learning pedagogies, information literacy, service-learning, or learning communities to reason@nsu.edu.
