Client Services in the Office of Information Technology provides help desk support related to Norfolk State University computer systems, hardware, or software for students, faculties, staffs, and computer labs.
To request a new account download the Resource Authorization Request Form (Information Security Awareness Access Form) and the related Information Security Access Agreement Form under OIT Forms. Complete the online Security Awareness Training and forward certificate and the completed forms to Human Resources.
For assistance with NSU WI-FI configuration please see information on the OIT WiFi webpage. If you continue to experience NSU Wi-FI issues, Faculty/Staff must bring their laptop or media device to the Nursing and General Education Building Room 105 for further assistance.
Before laptops can be configured the following requirements must be met:
- Must have current Microsoft Operating System Updates
- Active Antivirus Software / Active Anti Spyware Software
- Virtual Wireless Configuration
