Here you will find information about the Army ROTC program at Norfolk State University. Army ROTC is a world-class leadership development program which trains, develops, and commissions the future leadership of the United States Army, Army Reserve, and National Guard.
The SPARTAN BATTALION has a rich history of equipping college students with the necessary skills to become successful leaders in the United States Army as well as in civilian careers. We focus on skills such as time management, planning, and effective communication. We instill in our Cadets the Army Values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage.
You can participate in Army ROTC for the first two years (the Basic Course) with no military obligation. All the while, earning college credit and gaining valuable leadership experience that will benefit you whether you decide to complete the program and commission or pursue a career outside the military.
We are looking for Scholar Athlete Leaders (SALs), well-rounded students who excel in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in extra-curricular organizations. Do you think you have what it takes? Contact us for more information.
