The Staff

Our staff and teachers are highly qualified and trained professionals. Their education and preparation shows evidence of the University’s commitment to provide the highest quality service to young children and their families. In addition to our Program Director, Teachers and Assistants, Norfolk State students majoring in Early Childhood /Elementary and Special Education, Psychology, Nursing, English, Mass Communications, Social Work, Art and Theater serve at the Laboratory as a part of a course requirement or work-study placement. Undergraduate senior level and graduate students from the Department of Early Childhood/Elementary and Special Education also fulfill their student teaching or practicum experiences in the Lab school.
