  06/05/2016 - The Information Assurance Research Education and Development Institute (IA-REDI) at Norfolk State University is hosting a two week GenCyber Cybersecurity summer camp for High School Students, (rising 9th, through 12th grade). The camp will be held from July 5th to July 15th, 9 am to 4 pm on the Norfolk State University Campus.

• COE 2016 First Cybersecurity Faculty Training Workshop

  06/02/2016 - COE 2016 First Cybersecurity Faculty Training Workshop: June 2 – June 6 NSU COE in Cybersecurity will hold a week-long faculty training workshop for faculty from various HBCU(s) and MSI(s). There will be shared access to lab resources for learning, research, development and experimentation for selected faculty and students who inspire to specialize in this field of research and education.

• 2nd Annual Cybersecurity Summer Internship Program at NSU

  06/01/2016 - The internship program will take place from June 1 through July 22, 2016. Students will be exposed to research elements of the CASE-V system.

• International Test Evaluation Associate Cyber Security Workshop in Cyber Training, and Intrusion Detection and Response

• Oak Ridge Associated Universities Annual Meeting

  03/09/2016 - Held at the Oak ridge National Lab on March 9-10th . Attended by Dr. Hsieh

• 2016 CECOR Strategic Meeting held at NSU

  02/17/2016 - The 2016 Annual Meeting for the K-20 Consortium Enabling Cybersecurity Opportunities & Research (CECOR) Project was held at NSU on February17-18.

• Sandia Technical Team Visits NSU

  02/16/2016 - Sandia technical team assisted with lab setup and configuration of Tracer Fire and MiniMega. NSU students presented research projects to the team and members participated in collaboration meetings with faculty and tours of various lab.
