Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates
The Center for Materials Research at Norfolk State University invites motivated, dependable students to apply to our Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU). Students will have the opportunity to work directly with faculty and graduate students on interdisciplinary materials research projects involving chemistry, physics, materials science, mathematics and engineering disciplines. Undergraduate participants also contribute to guidance and leadership of high school students who participate in NSU's summer opportunity for high school students.
Program Application Requirements:
1) Official/unofficial transcript and two recommendation letters.
2) A 600-word statement about why you would like to participate in the program.
Dates for 2016 Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates: June 1, 2016-July 22, 2016
