AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE)


  AccessData certifications are obtained by completing a multiple choice exam which consists of Knowledge Based and Practical Based elements. Although there are no prerequisites, certification candidates will benefit from taking AccessData courses specifically designed to give you a firm foundation in the technology of your choice.


  It is recommended that students utilize their training manuals from previously taken courses as study guides. Focusing on the learning points and lab exercises from the course modules will best prepare the certification candidate for test questions and practical assessment activities.

Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)


  A Certified Ethical Hacker is a skilled professional who understands and knows how to look for weaknesses and vulnerabilities in target systems and uses the same knowledge and tools as a malicious hacker, but in a lawful and legitimate manner to assess the security posture of a target system(s). The CEH credential certifies individuals in the specific network security discipline of Ethical Hacking from a vendor-neutral perspective.


The purpose of the CEH credential is to:

  • Establish and govern minimum standards for credentialing professional information security specialists in ethical hacking measures.
  • Inform the public that credentialed individuals meet or exceed the minimum standards.
  • Reinforce ethical hacking as a unique and self-regulating profession.

Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE)


  The Certified Computer Forensics Examiner (CCFE) tests a candidate's fundamental knowledge of the computer forensics evidence recovery and analysis process. Candidates are evaluated on their relevant knowledge of both hard and soft skills. Candidates will be tested on soft skills; they must prove that they have the required background knowledge of the complex legal issues that relate to the computer forensics field. Candidates' hard skills are vetted via a comprehensive practical examination that is given to candidates that pass the online multiple choice exam. Only candidates that complete both the online multiple choice exam and the practical exam are granted active CCFE certification status.

Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI)


  For individuals who wish to demonstrate their expertise in detecting hacking attacks and properly extracting evidence to report the crime and conduct audits to prevent future attacks. Computer forensics is simply the application of computer investigation and analysis techniques in the interests of determining potential legal evidence.
