Biography

Dr. Bo Xiao is a research associate professor in the Center for Materials Research and the Department of Engineering. He received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology. In 2009, he received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2009-2011, Dr. Xiao worked as a research associate in the Department of Physics at Syracuse University. In 2012, Dr. Xiao joined Norfolk State University as a research associate professor with a focus on nanostructures and heterostructures of Si, wide band gap semiconductor, oxide thin films and multifunctional materials for electronic, optical, sensing and energy conversion applications.
