Graduate Certificate Program
The Graduate Certificate in Energy Systems is designed for all students and industry personnel with an undergraduate degree in STEM fields who are seeking to learn about various energy systems or pursue job market in energy industries. This graduate certificate program requires an undergraduate degree in STEM fields with preference to engineering and science. The certificate is designed as a stepping stone for the eventual Professional Science Master's degree in Energy Systems.
The certificate program will a) provide a better understanding of the current status of various energy systems and their management, b) examine the technologies that are currently pursued in various energy system industries, c) provide information on existing commercial processes and associated economics of various energy products and d) foster a better understanding of public policies needed to provide greater momentum to the energy industry and the inherent possible environmental impacts of the various energy systems.
The target audience for the program include persons who want to pursue a graduate degree in the field of energy systems and are: (1) already employed in the industry with the bachelor degree in engineering or science (2) high quality students with an undergraduate degree in STEM fields and (3) persons interested in gaining knowledge of various energy systems and their management.
