As director of CETLA, I welcome you to our center. I hope that we will develop many partnerships within campus as well as across campuses with similar centers. Our main purpose is to provide faculty with opportunities to improve the academic environment for our most important stakeholders – students. We also strive to serve the needs of our other stakeholders – faculty, staff, and administrators-- by offering professional development activities related to our mission: the enhancement of teaching, learning, and advising.
My formal academic preparation is in Management Information Systems and Operations Research. I have been very fortunate to have had the honor of receiving NSU’s Outstanding Faculty Award twice during my tenure at the School of Business. I truly embrace the teacher-scholar model and would like CETLA to become instrumental in its dissemination and application throughout campus.
