NSU Professor Discusses the Crown Act on WTKR


Dr. Khadijah Miller, chair of the Norfolk State University Department of History and Interdisciplinary Studies, served as a faculty expert during a recent WTKR News segment about Virginia becoming the fourth state in the country to adopt the Crown Act—which prohibits racial hair discrimination. NSU Alumnus Named Senior Vice President
at Republic Records

Norfolk State University Alumnus Damion Presson was recently named Senior Vice President at Republic Records. The 1997 graduate, who majored in mass communications, formerly worked at Reebok as director of global entertainment marketing. To read more, click here.

Symptoms - Fever, difficulty breathing, couch, shaking chills•
Preventative Measures•Wash hands often with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. • Cover your coughs and sneezes. Use a tissue or your sleeve, not your hands. Discard tissue after use. Do not reuse tissue. • Always dispose of used tissues in a waste can.
