Dr. Khadijah Miller, chair of the Norfolk State University Department of History and Interdisciplinary Studies, served as a faculty expert during a recent WTKR News segment about Virginia becoming the fourth state in the country to adopt the Crown Act—which prohibits racial hair discrimination.
