The Music – a unique blend of R&B, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Gospel and Reggae sets the tone for daily programming. Many local artists and overlooked soundtracks get an opportunity to “air” on this progressive station.

The Talent – the opportunity to share and develop their skills and experience is provided to many individuals and students that would not otherwise be afforded. Several individuals have been “discovered” here and have moved on to establish a very successful career in broadcasting.

The Spoken Word – the exposure of many gifted poets accentuates our broadcast day occasionally within a  Program entitled “Radio Cipher”

The Special Programs – it is a major part of our mission to inform and educate our listeners. Our public affairs and news shows ( i.e. News & Notes with Ed Gordon, Democracy Now and PowerPoint ) have all won national acclaim for their work.

The NSU Live Sports Coverage – it is our special privilege to be able to provide exclusive, live radio coverage of NSU football and basketball games. This coverage is especially well received via the internet to NSU alumni around the world.

The Network Affiliations – this radio station is a proud affiliate of National Public Radio. It also airs  a  show from Public Radio International. Additional shows are being considered as funding becomes available.  

Staff Employment – in order for this public radio station to continue to grow and better serve listeners like you, It is necessary to maintain and expand its staff.

Scholarship – in order to avail some gifted individuals the opportunity to acquire an education and experience in this field, it is necessary to provide them with the financial means.

Technological Growth – it is our goal to provide our students and listeners the state-of-the-art technology that will produce radio programming that has the highest audio quality possible. The ever- changing technology however demands a constant upgrade of the facility in order to succeed.

Future Plans – sustained growth demands future planning. An investment of time, effort, money and people is crucial to the continued success of this station.
