The NSU Logo |

The NSU logo is a
registered trademark of the Norfolk State University. The Marketing
Visual Identity Guideline outlines approved usages of the graphic
identity, names, marks, colors and logos of the Norfolk State
University.
Norfolk State University’s name, seal and logos may not be used without the written
permission of the University. Written permission is also required
for the use of University logo clothing and other items, such as
pennants, for use as costumes and set dressing. Please contact
NSU Communications and Marketing for a copy of the NSU Logo for your print needs. |

NSU Logo Placement |

The university logo
should appear on all web pages that make up NSU’s web presence and
be placed in the upper left corner or the homepage. The NSU Logo
should be: width="150" height="76" and be in full color at all
times. The logo should link back to the main NSU homepage
http://www.nsu.edu . |

Agency / Corporate Logos |

|
Norfolk State University does not accept or permit
advertisements within web content; nor shall any data within the
website be used to transmit commercial or personal advertisements,
solicitations, or promotions. Norfolk State University, will on
occasion, list names of corporate sponsors and donors.
If a sponsor's corporate logo, name, or trademark is used on the
Norfolk State University Web site it must include the appropriate
legal copyright or trademark notification. Permission for same must
be granted via the NSU Webmaster, who obtains permission to post
from University Advancement as well as Communications and Marketing. |

If a department wishes to use an agency’s logo, the webmaster
will need a letter from the agency giving permission for use of the
logo, a copy of the logo approved by the agency, any special
placement information as well as providing the correct hyper link
for the URL. This information will be reviewed yearly by the
webmaster to ensure the logo requirements or link has not changed
and who in turn obtains permission to post from University
Advancement as well as Communications and Marketing. |
