NSU Website Editing 101 - How to Send

  ONLY the Content Manager and / or Content Editor may submit edits to a website

  No edits will be accepted verbally, over the phone, fax or by campus mail (unless the data is on a disc as part of an email request).

  An email with attachments is the preferred method, unless the data is of a large file size (place on a disc)

  Edits are taken ONLY by the NSU Webmaster -  at:  webmaster@nsu.edu

  ALL task requests are required to use the formatting below:  (a 1-2-3 format)

 

 
  1. The webpage the edit needs to be applied to:  i.e. http://www.nsu.edu/contactus.html
  2. What needs to be done?
  3. How do you wish it to be displayed?
  4.   SAMPLE using the 1-2-3 format

This format allows Web to quickly and efficiently make your web edits.

  Information sent to web, will be the only information posted (i.e. missing staff emails / phone numbers).

  Collection of website content is the responsibility of the website manager / editor. This would include the adding of email address, phone numbers and links.

  Information sent to web is not archived, but placed only on the NSU Website.  Replaced forms, photos, etc... are deleted from the server permanently.
