What is FINDS?
FINDS is an automated search directory for Faculty and Staff that was built
in-house and coded using the latest web technology PHP and Microsoft SQL Server.
Users can query the database using the last name, first name, email id, user id,
title, department, and telephone numbers to search for NSU employees.
Administrative functions allow immediate updates to the database. This tool also
keeps a unified and accurate contacts record for NSU employees by allowing user
validation and updating of personal records.

How to I make changes to or
add my information?
Contact information should be updated in FINDS when you are
promoted or change positions. It should be added to the directory when an
employee is hired.
To correct, update or add information:

Go to
http://www.nsu.edu/FINDS

Click ‘Add or Update my information’ at the top right

Click ‘Yes’ to accept the Security Certificate

Sign on using your NSU User Name & Password

Once you sign in, update your information

Press the ‘submit information’ button at the bottom of the
page

Press the ‘sign out’ link at the top left
If you input your username or
password incorrect 3 times, you will automatically be locked out of the system
and need to contact:
webmaster@nsu.edu
via your NSU Email.
Who is responsible for making
the directory listing updates?
It is up to the individual Faculty/Staff member to update
their own directory information when needed.
What if someone needs to be
deleted?

The NSU Webmaster relies upon various
methods of removing persons from the system, however, in case you notice a
listing for a person that is no longer with NSU, please email the NSU
Webmaster at
webmaster@nsu.edu
and give them the persons full name and
department.
