Ms. Debbie Lyn Jones serves as the Senior Web Architect / Web Team Lead
of the Norfolk State University Web Team.
Debbie Jones has 15 years of Business Administration / Law as well as 15 years of Web Experience and began working at
Norfolk State University in April 2002 as a contractor with Advanced
Technology Systems. There she worked as the Senior Web Developer /
Designer until she was promoted to Senior Web Architect in December 2002 and
hired over by NSU in January 2004. In December 2005, Ms. Jones was
promoted to Information Technology Manager I.
Debbie Jones is the divorced mother of five daughters, and holds an
Associates of Arts in Information Technology and is currently enrolled in a
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology / Multimedia and Visual
Communications (BSIT/MVC) program. Debbie Jones graduated
from NRI Paralegal School in 1989 with Highest Honors and four academic
awards and is a published illustrator and writer.

XHML (hard code), DHTML, HTML, CGI, CSS, XML, XLST, SSI, Perl, Flash Action
Scripting, Java, Java, ASP, Lingo, Xforms, ColdFusion, Interface Design, Image Maps (client / server side), Digital
Illustration, Web Graphic Design, 2D Animation, CMS Administration,
SharePoint Administration.
Working knowledge of: PHP, SQL, Lingo, JavaScript and Visual Basic
