Logging into the NSU LAN
for NSU Students

Once you have obtained your NSU User name go to http://mypass.nsu.edu

1.	Login using your NSU user name
	You must use your user name (i.e. j.d.doe) and student ID in combination with a capital S in the beginning and a $ at the end of your ID# (i.e. S1234567$). To get the seven numbers off your student ID you will have to subtract the first and last two numbers (if you don’t you will have 11 numbers). Also, make sure you are signing on to the NSU_LAN (not LAB or local computer).

2.	Creating a new password
	After entering the above information you will be required to create a new password, which must consist of the following: a capital letter, lower case letters, a numeric character, & a total of 8 characters in length. Your password cannot include your name, student ID or previous passwords.

3.	Creating a profile
	Once you have established your password students should answer the 3 security questions to setup a profile for future password resets. This will allow the student to reset their own network password in the event they forget their password and cannot contact the client services.

4.	Resetting Your Password
	If you have forgotten your password you can reset it yourself within a 24 hour period.
