 Voices Found:  Models of Inspiration

Norfolk State University has an important role in providing cultural and educational events to the Hampton Roads community. As such, the University is presenting Voices Found: Models of Inspiration, on Thursday, March 27, 2008, at the L. Douglas Wilder Performing Arts Center on the campus of Norfolk State. The concert which begins at 7:30 p.m. will feature the Virginia Symphony under the direction of Matthew Kraemer and the NSU Concert Choir under the direction of Carl Haywood in a celebration of artists—the majority who are African American—that awakened our nation’s conscience through their struggles, sacrifices, and resolve.  Norfolk State is partnering with the Virginia Symphony to present the concert.
