Virginia Military Survivors and Dependents Education Program

The Virginia Department of Veterans Services provides the Virginia Military Survivors and Dependents Education Program (MSDEP), formerly the Virginia War Orphans College Fund, educational assistance for the children, or surviving children, of certain war-disabled veterans.
