General Description
Norfolk State University's mission is to provide an affordable and high-quality education to a diverse active duty military, active duty reservists, retired military, military family members , DOD civilians and other NON-DOD civilians throughout the Hampton Roads area. In today's global marketplace, it is vitally important our military students are exposed to all degree programs offered by this institution. Norfolk State University provides "one-stop"
services in counseling, advising, course registrations ,
admissions requirements, program referrals, SOC preparations
and tuition payment at the NSU Naval Station Office, except as noted below.
At our Naval Station site, we offer an Undergraduate Degree program in Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (INT Studies) - 120 credits, and Master of Arts Urban Education Community Counseling (UEDCCN) - 39 credits. Classes are offered in an accelerated 8 or 9 weeks format.
