These templates are mandatory for all websites using the nsu.edu domain name

Web Page Header

• Link to NSU Website (http://www.nsu.edu)
• Link to Department Sitemap
• Link to Department Contact Us Page

Web Page Banner

• NSU Logo (standard size) - top left
• Google Search box (center) with SEARCH button
• Department Name (NSU GREEN ONLY - #007A5E) - Font:  Arial / Size 4 or 5

Right Column

• Right column is optional
• if used - width:  151
• Wider if used on main page (ONLY on main page)
• Column Color: #E9E9E9 (light colors may be used if they begin with an E)
• Example below:

Web Site Navigation

• Standard drop down navigation
• Color #DFDFDF
• Caps used for main categories only
• Sitemap required for each page
• Search box required for each page
• Print button at top right (optional)
• TOP of page used when page exceeds 1 screen ( note green arrow at right-bottom of page)
• Left Navigation used on Template 3
  • Width 160 maximum
  • Color:  White #FFFFFF
  • Use Style Sheet for Fonts
  • MAXIMUM of 12 Links (per VITA)
  • Links MUST be the same on all webpages
  • keep to the design (no color, no buttons, etc...)

Web Site Background

• required - current grey lined
• included in CMS Style Sheet
• #636363 as default base color

Web Page

• No wider then 772 pixels (unless created for web application)
• No longer than 2 computer screen lengths
• named: .html ONLY (unless renamed by Web Master)

Web Page Background

• This is the page where the content goes
• default is white (#FFFFFF)
• light colors may be used, stressing the word LIGHT - MUST begin with an E

Fonts

• Fonts used are defined in the Cascading Style Sheet
• Font Size 11px
• Font Face - Arial
• Comic Sans MS, Times Roman and Verdana are defaults
• Links - may vary but standard is:  NSU Gold: #EAAF0F  NSU GREEN:  #007A5E
