Roderick Bell
earned a B S degree in
BCTin 1996. Bell was a member of the Associated General
Contractors (AGC) and the track team where he won CIAA honors.
He was also presented the Student Achievement Award. Mr.
Bell is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and is
currently a Project Manager for Rodgers Builders, Inc.
His most prestigious accomplishment was his role as Project
Manager for the World War II Memorial. Bell is a Certified
International Project Manager and will soon complete
requirements for a graduate degree. |

Victor Brown
is an Executive IT Architect for IBM. He is
a technical professional with solid experience in the IT
industry. He is a Microsoft certified Systems Engineer and
Product Specialist. Victor has received numerous
awards, including being one recipient of the "Modern Day Technology
Leader" award in 2005 from the Black Engineer Magazines Black
Engineer of the Year Award Ceremony. One of Victor's most
honored titles is that of IBM's University Ambassador for
Norfolk State University. In that capacity, he
occasionally visits technology classes and holds an office on
the Technology Departments Advisory Board. |

Mr. Junius Gradney
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Vocational/Industrial Education in 1996. His
academic success in the Technology Department has
allowed him to teach in the Virginia Beach Public School
System for 10 years (4 years at Brandon Middle School
and 6 years at Tallwood High School).
Junius
is currently the CHROME club and Literary Magazine
sponsor at Tallwood. He credits the
education received at Norfolk State with his ability to
do what he loves and do it well.

Robert Looper III
received his Degree in Building Construction Technology (BCT) in 2006.
Robert was initiated into the Epsilon Pi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha
Fraternity Inc. He also presided over the NSU chapter of the
Associated General Contractors, was Vice President of the sophomore
class, and was Student Government Association President. In addition,
Robert participated in two internships. He now works for Hensel
Phelps Construction Co. He is in the process of joining the Washington
Metropolitan NSU Alumni Chapter and creating an endowed scholarship for

Amanda Teixeira
earned a
degree in Electronics Technology from Norfolk State University
in 1982. Since that time, she has held positions in the
quality assurance department at several Fortune 500 companies.
Mrs. Teixeira is currently a Quality Assurance Manager for
General Dynamics Corporation. She attributes her career
success to the foundation she received at Norfolk State
University. |

Ms. Amy Wilkerson
graduated with her BS in
Electronics Technology from NSU in 1996. She went on to
complete her MS in Materials Science at NSU in 1999.
Ms. Wilkerson's current position is as the Laboratory
and Research Manager for the College of William and Mary
Materials Characterization labs at the Applied Research
Center in Newport News, VA. As part of her duties
Ms. Wilkerson trains and supervises graduate and
undergraduate students who are sent from all the local
Universities. |
