Our mission is to provide a more alert, informed, and articulate SVEA membership that is capable of communicating with public schools, students, and parents.

Did You Know ? The NSU SVEA Chapter was originally chartered March 14, 1949; as Lyman B. Brooks Chapter, Virginia State College, Norfolk, Virginia, by the Virginia Teachers Association and the National Education Association of the United States.

NSU Chapter of the SVEA is a member of the National Education Association Student Program. Our parent organization is the Virginia Education Association. We are locally sponsored by the Education Association of Norfolk, Virginia.
