Mission Statement

The Office of Student Activities and Leadership’s mission, in collaboration with faculty and staff, is to enhance the out-of-classroom experience and learning for an ethnically and culturally diverse NSU student population by providing a comprehensive educationally purposeful Student Activities program to include intellectual, cultural, social, and recreational programming; and management and advisement of student publications.

How to Start a Student Organization

Student organizations and groups may be established at the University for any legal purpose, provided these groups do not discriminate with regard to race, creed, color, religion or national origin. Affiliation with an extramural organization shall not, in itself, disqualify the institutional branch or chapter from institutional privileges.

Event Planning System (EMS)
