Funds can be placed on the SpartanCard in any or all of the following accounts:

SpartanBucks

• Represents the dollar equivalency of funds deposited for campus-wide usage as well as accepting locations off campus.
• These funds are not restricted.
• These funds are yours and are never lost or expire.

Dining Dollars

• These meal plans are primarily intended for residential students.
• Meal plans and dining dollars (if any) expire at the end of each semester and cannot be carried forward to the next semester.
• Please see Dining Services for pricing and more information.

Residential Meal Plan Options

• These meal plans are primarily intended for residential students. 
• Meal plans and associated unused bonus points (if any) expire at the end of each semester and cannot be carried forward to the next semester.
• Please see Dining Services for pricing and more information.

Commuter Meal Plan Options

• Only commuter students can purchase these meal plans.
• Faculty and staff may purchase Commuter meal plans as well.
• Residential students are not eligible for these meal plans.
• These meal plans expire at the end of each semester and cannot be carried forward to the next semester.
• Multiple commuter meal plans can be purchased in the same semester.

• Commuter meal plans are to be purchased at the University Cashier’s Office.
