Dr. Arletha McSwain, Interim Associate Dean for the School of Extended Learning received the Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Technology at the 22nd International Conference in Teaching and Learning. Dr. McSwain’s presentation was titled “Was It Worth The Risk?” and centered around her making the successful transition from education administration to technology administration. Her presentation highlighted the Office of eLearning’s Faculty Certification Online Program and the Blackboard Student Training Tutorials that were piloted in her Fall 2010 INT 350 Trends and Issues in Diverse Populations course.
