User Services Policy & Planning
The User
Services, Policy, and Planning Department provides
technology support in several key areas. Computer
users contact the OIT Help Desk to obtain remote
and/or on-site technical support when confronting
computer hardware, software, or connectivity
problems. University clients receive customer
support for voice communications by contacting the
Telecommunications Administration Office. Creative
Services television/video/multimedia technology
specialists provide on-site event coverage and
production support to meet both institutional and
instructional needs of the University. The
department director also serves as the primary agent
for the development of technology-related policies
and continuity of operations/disaster recovery
planning.
