Admission Criteria | Program of Study

Admission Criteria

Admission into the 2nd Degree Baccalaureate Degree Program is competitive and open to qualified students. The minimal admission criteria are:

  1. Completion of an undergraduate or higher degree; in prerequisite courses or credit by examination (CLEP, ACT);
  2. Admission to the University by December 1 for summer session, and August 1 for January session.
  3. A cumulative grade point average of 2.5, and “C” in the following courses: Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, and Pathophysiology
  4. Completion of prerequisite courses or credit by examination (CLEP or ACT)
  5. Receipt of official transcript(s) from previously attended college(s);
  6. Two units of math, one of which must be algebra: A minimum grade of “C”. Persons who have not taken Chemistry in high school or college must take a college chemistry course and earn a minimum grade of “C”.
