 Norfolk State University Hosts Regional Budget Public Hearing

 

Norfolk, Va.—One of several regional public hearings, sponsored by the House of Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees of the Virginia General Assembly, on the Governor’s proposed amendments to the 2010-2012 biennial state budget will be held on the campus of Norfolk State University Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011 at noon. The public hearing will be held at the New Student Center.

The purpose of the hearings is to receive comments on the Governor’s proposed amendments to the 2010-12 biennial state budget. Those persons wishing to speak may register at the hearing site no earlier than one hour prior to the start of the hearing. Speakers will be taken in order of registration. Speakers are asked to limit their comments to three minutes or less. Persons unable to attend may comment in writing to either:
