Eddie’s Crabhouse Sponsors 2nd Annual 5K
Walk/Run to Benefit Norfolk State University
Norfolk, Va.—Eddie’s Crabhouse will sponsor the
second annual 5K Walk/Run fundraiser benefitting Norfolk
State University and the Eddie’s Crabhouse Scholarship
Fund. The event, dubbed the Run for Excellence,
will begin at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, August 30, at G.W.C.
Brown Hall, on the campus of Norfolk State.
Participants will receive complimentary food and drinks
and enjoy entertainment before and after the event. Race
participants may register as a single participant by
filling out a form and paying a $20 entry fee, or by
inviting family, friends, organization members and
neighbors to sponsor their walk/run for a set amount.
Walkers or runners who recruit sponsors are eligible for
an award for the best overall fundraiser in their age
category. In addition, first and second place race
participants will receive a prize. Online registration
