Marching Spartan Legion Prepares for Annual Battle

Norfolk, Va.—Norfolk State University’s Marching Spartan Legion Band will meet the Virginia State University Marching Trojan Explosion in the annual Labor Day Classic Battle of the Bands Friday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. in Joseph G. Echols Hall, which is located on the NSU campus. The Battle of the Bands highlights NSU’s Labor Day Classic events, which include a football game on Saturday, Sept. 2 against Virginia State University.

Tickets for the Battle of the Bands event are $8 for NSU and Virginia State University students if purchased in advance and $10 on the day of the show. General admission prices are $10 in advance and $12 on the day of the event. Group ticket sales for groups of 25 or more people are $8 in advance and $10 on the day of the show. The doors open at 6:30 p.m.
