NSU to Host Campus/Public Forums for Presidential Search
Norfolk, Va.—Jack
L. Ezzell, Rector of the NSU Board of Visitors, announced
today that the Presidential Search Committee will host a
series of campus/public forums beginning at 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday, August 23 at the L. Douglas Wilder Performing Arts
Center, located on the campus of Norfolk State University at
1 Presidential Parkway.
Designed
to seek input from the campus community and the public on
issues facing the university and the characteristics and
qualities desired in the next president of NSU, the
Presidential Search Committee will use the feedback to craft
a leadership statement to be used in the recruitment of the
future president. To accommodate the various NSU
constituents, two forums will be held during the campus
lunch/activity hour and one will be held in the evening to
encourage participation from the community. The forums will
be held on the following dates and times:
