Summer Scholars Musical Extravaganza to Be Held July 16

Norfolk, Va.—NSU’s 2004 Summer Scholars Enrichment program will present United We Sing: A Celebration of Music by Teresa Jennings from noon to 12:30 p.m. Friday, July 16 at Brown Memorial Hall, Little Theatre, which is located on the NSU campus. The program is free and open to the public.

The Summer Scholars program is a full day, four-week enrichment program open to rising first through fifth grade students in the Hampton Roads area. The program offers a morning academic curriculum featuring vocabulary development, math enrichment, and beginning Spanish language and cultural experiences. The mid-morning activities include swimming instruction, computer applications and research, while the afternoon recreational programs offer worldwide exposure to sports, and theatrical and music enrichment.
