NSU Security Systems Technology Certificate Program to Begin July 12
Norfolk, Va.—Beginning
July 12, Norfolk State University’s Virginia Beach
Higher Education Center in partnership with Actcom Security Solutions will
offer a Security Systems Technology Certificate Program.
Geared towards individuals who have an interest in learning about the
latest cutting-edge security systems technology, the non-credit
certificate program will provide participants with the ability to master
access control, intrusion, detection, video systems, troubleshooting and
instrumentation, and security design fundamentals.
Participants who successfully complete the required course of study will
have the opportunity to apply for Actcom co-op positions, which may lead
to full-time employment.
Taught by NSU faculty members or Actcom senior management and independent
instructors, classes are conveniently offered evenings and weekends.
Tuition assistance is also available for current Actcom employees.
