Hosts 10th Annual Gala Concert Norfolk, Va.-The Norfolk State University Music Department will host a 10th Annual Gala Concert honoring retired NSU music man Emery L. Fears on Wednesday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the L. Douglas Wilder Performing Arts Center. The anniversary gala will also honor I. Louis "Ike" Owens a former NSU music student. The gala concert is a part of NSU's Festival of the Arts taking place throughout the month of April. Additional band activities include the 2002 Spartan Legion Spring Band Camp, Monday through Saturday, April 1-6 at the E.L. Hamm Fine Arts Building. Band Camp brings in students from around the country to NSU to rehearse and play with the Spartan Legion.
